shop-ing.

yes, today went shopping with my 2nd sister (3rd child), majidah. heh at first i didnt want to go. because i wasn't in the mood... and usually our taste in clothes differ. but she begged me, the girl. said she needed my 'advise'. haha. so finally i gave in... however its also because i wanted to buy eyeliner because im running low on my current one :p

so we went to this fashion, paya lebar. she wanted to find a denim skirt and two tops. there weren't any denim skirt.. but she bought a pair of jeans for $10. good buy, i must say and i think it look quite nice. i didn't really look at the jeans coz the lady who was in charge of changing rooms didn't allow me to go together w her. i find it a bit puzzling... k, maybe they are afraid people will steal or something... but my handbag was super small. no way i could fit any clothing in :/ majidah plak malu nak kluar balik tunjuk kat aku... so dah lah... i did catch a glimpse.. ok, i think. its quite important for me to like whatever piece she's buying coz we share clothes.

the tops she found two... both i didnt like very much.. but she bought them anyway. i dont really mind.. i was not in the mood just now... i found this very nice top- shirt material, with a picture of a tree on it.. i like it a lot.. and i think i will look nice in it heh.. but not today.. i am saving my money... insyaAllah if that piece is still there, i will buy it on my next pay. very nice tau... picture of a tree... it symbolizes me a lot... nature and tree lover...

she also bought a black skirt (shopping sakan deni...) that i think is quite nice.. i like the cutting, at least. and its all plain (good, easy to match) and we both dont have a black skirt (bab tu minhah pakai white skirt) so.. Alhamdulillah.

when it was time to pay something funny happened. the cashier was a man. i was supossed to pay, coz majidah was somewhere around, still looking at clothes. i didnt want the male cashier.. coz in our pile of clothes there were some items kinda personal... and they were mine -_- so... i asked this female staff to help me with my paying... she didnt understand at first.. (it was difficult to talk to someone who doesnt really understand english..) luckily a staff around my age understood. :) she was very nice abt it and gladly helped with my paying. she said "i understand, i understand" hehe... she even put the items in between the other clothes. "coz the plastic bag's transparent lah". :) i really appreciated it... this is what i call GEMs... (unlike the lady in charge of changing room and the one who doesnt understand and act really mean abt it.. :/)

turned out quite nice shopping with my sista...
after that she bought cakes from ntah la kedai apa.. (our mother suruh) while i bought my eyeliner.
eyeliner is an essential to me. lets talk abt eyeliners. :p is it important to it be expensive, with brand-name or just the traditional $3 kajal? pencil or tube? liquid or aint?
for me, ive tried since i was a baby, the liquid celak mekah (comes in gold-coloured container, applied using metal stick), the solid celak mekah (heh, tak liquid solid ah) that comes in short coloured tubes (red, green or blue), liquid kajal comes in tube, silkygirl black-black and my current one's revlon black.
of all these, i find yes, branded celaks do indeed come w better quality than the $1-$3 Kajal.
the branded ones usually last longer, do not smudge and the colour is nicer.
The cheaper ones have nice very black colour (like the liquid kajal), however they usually smudge. and some last for only a few hours.
from all ive tried so far, i like silkygirl best. it has a nice super black colour, comes in easy-to-apply stick, last long on your eyes and the stick itself lasts very long too (panjang stick dia..). you can keep the eyeliner for as long as 6 months (for me, pakai hari2 even at home).
revlon, however has a nicer colour. but, the stick is flimsy. it breaks easily. and shorter too. so you can only have it for.... around 2 months. and expensive too. but yes, the colour is nice..
so just now i was looking for silkygirl... however sadly its all finished...
i did not want to buy another revlon... so i looked around.. and found maybelline. very cheap compared to silkygirl & revlon. the tube is nice. the stick looks strong, but short. i have not check the colour yet. when i start wearing it, ill review.
(i cant believe im reviewing myself. im not very good at reviewing tho.. vocabs limited -_-)
maybe if i practice revieweing, will get better on it... haha..
but yea.. eyeliners... eyeliners are important to me...

well, k lah..
guess thats it..
