Companions of The Cave; we thought we understood the relativity of Time. when Allah actually knows more.

Parables refer to: brevity, uncertainty & venity in life.
to the many paradoxes in it.
which can only be understood by:
1) Patience
2) Knowledge
3) Guarding our spiritual gains against incursions of evil.
-> Knowledge is for Allah: be on your guard against idle conjectures and cocksure hopes. Learn from the Quran, Parable of the man who is puffed up with this world's goods and is brought to nought.
-> Life if uncertain & variable: goodness and virtue are better & more durable. for the Day of Reckoning will come, with its Mercy & its wrath
-> Moses is thirsty for knowledge, he forgot his limitations.
Patience and Faith were enjoined on him, and he understood when the paradoxes of Life were explained.
->Zul Qarnain had a wide dominion. But he had Faith and valued the GUIDANCE OF ALLAH.
