my friend who is a teacher was doing ice-breaking with his students...

friend: my name is (insert name here) im 21 years old.... bla bla
student: teacher, why do want to teach us?
friend: (thinks umm... because i need the money? -_-'''')
another student: i know whhhy~ because after that you can teach your children right, teacher :D
friend: *dumbfounded*. awww...

student: teacher, are you married?
friend: *abt to open mouth and answer*
student's other friend: i know you're not~ coz you arent wearing any rings~ *cutesy big grin* :D
friend: (man these kids are smart)

my friend, btw is a teacher to convert kids. kids of parents who convert to Islam (which explains why they are more to the 'wedding ring culture' ^^ cute much? *hearts*

i have a chinese-muslim kid in my class.... we were discussing Pillars of Faith.... and as we discussed some of the Malay, more exposed to Islam kids already knew the answers...

Hadi (the chinese muslim): teacher... i dont know much abt this... Teacher, im not a very good Muslim.......
me: *swallows hard*

the way he said it was so sincere and full of regret and sadness. i was so touched... all i could reply was "hadi, you are still small and its okay, you are still learning yeah".

and insyaAllah i promised to teach the best i can.

let us doa this year we will be better... ourselves..
and also our brothers & sisters in other countries....
honestly this year had seen so much blood and suffering..
the least we can do is doa for them all.
